Minerva Maker Team: Zadie Jumpsuit Pattern Review

Today I’m sharing my Zadie Jumpsuit pattern review from Paper Theory Patterns for the Minerva Maker Team. Take a sneak peek and catch a few quick details about this make in the blog post!

Hey party people! I’m back with another Minerva Maker Team submission and this time it’s the beloved Zadie Jumpsuit from Paper Theory sewn up in this incredible chambray fabric gifted to me by Minerva in exchange for the blog post (which you can read here). This fabric was a dream to sew with. When it comes to fabric, it’s the non-slip texture that presses into place with ease, for me. I love that it has a structured look and lightweight feel, perfect for this weird thing my house is doing right now where I’m shivering upstairs and sweating downstairs. It layers nicely under my favorite cozy cardigan and I know it’ll get loads of wear as I settle into a winter at home.

Have you made the famous Zadie Jumpsuit for yourself? And did you sing your own remixed version of “Zadie, Zadie, Married Lady” instead of “Sadie” from Funny Girl like I definitely did? (10 out of 10 recommend, btw). I’d love to hear from you if you did, so feel free to drop me a line below!

QUICK + DIRTY DETAILS:

PATTERN: The Zadie Jumpsuit by Paper Theory

FABRIC: Robert Kaufman Washed Cotton Chambray from Minerva Crafts (gifted)

SIZE: 12. Based on my measurements, I should have made a size 14, but I made the choice to make one size down after reading several reviews. I probably could have done 2 sizes since it’s such a relaxed fit, but I like the extra room for pie heading into holiday season haha!

  • B: 38”
  • W: 31″
  • H: 40″
  • Height: 5’4″

KNOWLEDGE OBTAINED: New seam finishes! Bias bound, tucked under, and felled seams!!

Happy making!

-XO-
